The Todd Schroeder Young Artists Grant Program for Sonora High School. Todd Schroeder, a former Sonora High School, has created a legacy for aspiring students. With the complete restoration of Sonora High School Steinway Grand Piano in 2009, the Chamber is now proudly responsible for endowing the Young Artsts Fund for generations to come.

The Julie Hulet Fund for Sonora Elementary School
The Julie Hulet Fund is part the chamber’s Grant a Wish Program. This fund, established at her passing in 2008, is dedicated to Sonora Elementary School and is designed and dedicated to providing funds for “in-need” programs and activities for them. . We were able to launch the program with the success of two fundraisers and with great pride we were able to donate $1,000 to Sonora Elementary. And it is our goal to continue this program and we have dedicated it to Julie Hulet to embrace her spirit of “caring is believing”

Fat Saturday, April 19, 2008 The HSCC would like to thank all who attended and contributed to making the event a success. This event raised $1.000.00 fpr each of Sonora'sHigh Schools.
The event benefited Sonora High School for their Renaissance Program which is in its second year at Sonora High and it is designed to recognize and reward academic growth and excellence in education. Todd Dearden, Principal of Sonora High School, added that the program encourages academic improvement as well as good attendance and citizenship.
Proceeds also benefited Cassina High School supporting their Student Rewards Program which was started this year explained Jim Roeber, Principal of Cassina High School.
The evening was a hit with the wonderful assortment of tasty tidbits and fabulous desserts:

The Historic Sonora Chamber of Commerce 7th Annual Fundraiser on November 10th – ‘Dance the Night Away - Disco Boogie Inferno’ – was a tremendous financial and popular success.
